I went to get an alignment today and got told "can't do it" and got a price quote of $1,162!!! Which was to replace the lower ball joints, inner tie rod ends and the bushings in the lower control arm. I politely declined and now I'm getting the parts myself. I already picked up inner and outer tie rod ends.(if i'm replacing one, might as well do 'em all) and I picked up some lower ball joints. Now I'm thinking that I'd be better off just replacing the whole lower control arm. I've checked out rock auto and the MOOG units and they've got the "Problem Solver" MOOG units. Anybody have experience with these? Good idea to just replace the whole lower control arm?
