Just lost a hdd as well. The thing is fried, it makes like a drill gun sound, I tried all the tricks but still won't even let me buy 5 more minutes.
Well I have a bit of a dinosour but it serves all my purposes. It is a DELL Dimensions XPS PIII 600 and the BIOS info is:
Phoenix BIOS
4.0 Release 6.0
4S4EB2X0.10A.0032.P10
BIOS Version A09
I was wondering if anyone knew a quick and easy way to find out what my hdd capacities are. I did have 2 40 gig but I want to make my Primary Slave an 80 or better. Do any of you know if I will have any issues - don't feel like calling DELL! Thanks...
