Blend Door Actuator

I just bought a 1998 Lincoln Mark VIII everything worked well for about ten days and then all of a sudden all I have is heat no matter what setting the climate control is set to. I had it diagnosed by the Lincoln dealer as a bad blend door actuator. I found a link about changing this (http://mark8.org/lod/blend_door_repair.htm) but when I click on it I get:
" HTTP 404 not found. Not Found

I'm an aircraft mechanic, I think that this shouldn't be too bad of a job but need to know what to watch out for and where the shortcuts are.
Also what is this about strengthening the new part??

By finding where the access to the actuator arm was located, I was able to take it off of full heat. I just bought the car, and just had surgery three days ago. Once I am able to move without pain the cure looks relatively easy (to change the actuator) but I was and am considering paying someone so I wouldn't have to put up with the Florida heat and humidity while I am recovering.
I'm an aircraft mechanic and former body repairman who used to replace instrument panels in Lincoln Mark IV's (theft recovery) in the 70's.
Another reason I was / am considering doing it is that my car was kept in near perfect condition by the original owner, but the Florida sun looks like it may have deteriorated the paint on the upper dashboard surface and this would be a perfect time to have that repainted. :fart
