Um, yeah, I can't find my paperwork. Very overwhelmed right now.

Call the hotel, I am fairly certain we asked for a block of rooms to be reserved for either LOD or Lincolns of Distinction.

If someone can post contact info, that'd be great as I have a hockey game to watch in 20 min, and a bunch of stuff to do before then.

Which, by the way, makes me want to look for volunteers again to help with Carlisle and banquet planning. We put a deposit down on the hotel for our banquet again this year, but I'm too overwhelmed right now to figure out details/menus (it may not be the same as last year).

Hotel # is 717-960-1000, menntion the club but there is no price break.

I don't know of I'm the sole voice about this but I for one was totally unimpressed by the so called banquet we had. The food was horrible and very expensive for what we got. The price didn't even include beer or wine. I ordered the prime rib and they brought out this overcooked thin piece of low quality meat after refusing to cook it the way I asked. They said they do all of them well done!

What's wrong with choosing a restaurant where people can order what they want and get separate checks like we used to do? There are plenty to choose from in Carlisle.

Nothing, but it's nice not to have to drive anywhere. We haven't had the greatest luck eating as a group in Carlisle... I for one thought the hotel was wayy better then whatever that last restaurant we used to go to was...

Cause I'm too lazy to change my sig? You know how many times I've looked at that and said "Trix, you need to fix that."

Leo, I can only agree with you about the Prime Rib, which I didn't end up eating. I thought the price was great for what we got, we had a private room, no driving for most of us, music, a fun bartender all to ourselves, a slightly over-friendly waitress, but more room than we've ever had at a Carlisle Dinner (besides the old banquets) before.

G-man won't work with me (or anyone as I heard it).

The restaurants Mrs. Driller and I and the rest of the leftovers scouted out in 2009 were even pricier than what this was, so I don't know what other options we have.

Order a dozen pizzas, take over the basement loby, and rock out with Bartender Badsax and DJ Tixer!

I promise I won't be sick this year. The nephew who infected me, as of about a week ago, lives in one of the Atlanta suburbs.

Comfort Suites banquet good: No driving, private concert, nice setting.

Comfort Suites banquet bad: Food

Sorry, just being honest. Not saying we won't try again this year at the hotel. Our meat was overcooked, and we like medium-well already ... Brad is only 5, so he hates veggies. {sigh}.

Trixie, can I help?

You know the funny part is that I actually like the "drive back to the hotel"...

it's when the burnouts happen... :D

Maybe Rene, I'll let you know. No, honest feedback is appreciated. I didn't like the look of the prime rib and actually traded meals to have the pasta which I enjoyed.

The dessert was awesome though, IIRC. Unless I'm thinking of those shots the bartender made for us.

I just called my contact at the hotel to check to see what's going on with the rooms. I will probably be passing off my responsibilities on this event, as I'm pretty overwhelmed. But let me see what I find out at least about the hotel rooms.
