We would like volunteers to sign up to man the club tent in shifts this year so as to allow everyone more freedom to enjoy the weekend and have someone available at the tent at all times.

The shifts can be flexible and only apply for Friday and Saturday. For example, we can do 2 hour shifts from 8am to 4pm and that would only require 4 volunteers per day. If you would like to team up with someone, that may be a good idea as well.

Does this mean I'm going to feel compelled to get up in the morning and go to the showfield by 10AM... (sigh)

I did enjoy the round of applause the 1st day I ever made it there before noon... :D
 
heheh. No, not really. Aren't you glad I didn't sign up for the 8am shift?

I'm sure I'll be around a lot, but can't commit yet if at all... but ain't no way I'm showing up Friday at 8 AM, so if we only have 1 car I need a ride from someone.

I'll be there Saturday morning, but I'll be washing my car, because it always rains on the way to Carlisle in Pennsylvania.:)

I can keep an eye on the tent then, if the stock class isn't so far away again.

It would be nice to have 2 on duty per shift. I'm sure I'll be around for backup.
 
I'm sure I'll be there for backup too, but between the emotional/med issues I'm having and now both my shoulders being pretty much out of commission, it's really hard for me to plan anything definite.
