JP, Which Nextel phone do you have?
My current favorite for our grounds guys is the Motorola "Brute" flip-phone. I had been getting the i576, but I had two where the screen went out, and one where the volume keys broke.
Of course one of those was run over by a Zamboni. All things considered, it fared pretty well..
As for the network Kirk, I've actually been quite pleased with the coverage and network speed for the 3G units. we have just three buildings I can think of that don't have service *inside*. (old, solid buildings) And Sprint's support staff have been absolutely fantastic. So as long as you are on a plan that you find affordable, you'll likely be very pleased with the service.
