The '93 manual states:
LAMP OUT WARNING SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS
Continuous display of CHECK EXTERIOR LAMPS Warning with no lamps burned out...
Possible Source(s):
§ Short to ground in circuit between message center and lamp outage module.
Action(s) to Take:
§ Check for short to ground in circuit 130 (R/LG). Service as required.
Possible Source(s):
§ Inoperative lamp outage module.
Action(s) to Take:
§ Refer to «Section 13-09».
Possible Source(s):
§ Inoperative message center.
Action(s) to Take:
§ If input to message center Pin 6 is greater than 5900 ohms and the warning is displayed when ignition is cycled from OFF to RUN, replace message center.
