just getting opinions..... im on the fence ab this 1 and want 2 c what u guys think...... ebay item # 110289190501... it looks really clean and barley has any miles on the clock. (26k)... i got him down to 7k... still think its too much though... plus im in pa and the car is in florida so i cant really go look at it unless i jump on a plane.... i've done it b4 and was very disapointed when the car i thought was a cream puff turned out 2 b a heap of crap.... 500 bucks later i was home and had nothing to show for it but ticket stubs... its the third time it has been listed on ebay and he cant move it... what do you think is a reasonable amount you would b willing to pay sight unseen?

you got him down to 7 grand, but the auction is currently still going, 17 bids and 7,100 is the price and reserve isnt met yet, but if you gave him 7 grand right now he would end it, to me, thats so unfair to do that to the 17 bids, all the sudden just yank a car off with legit bidders, thats why i cannot stand dealers who sell on ebay because they'll rip anything out from under people just for the money in their hand. honestly, i think thats alot of money for a 97 base model, even with the low miles, and thats too low miles for me to want for an 11 year old car, everything on that car that usually goes bad due to age and not miles is still capable of going bad anytime, leaky air ride, leaky oil filter adapter gasket, i never go after a car due to miles, i look at its condition and how well it held up to age, i'd buy a car with 300k miles in awesome shape rather than a 50k mile car thats been abused or just sat around.

i fully understand what ur sayin... dealers r snakes... they sent me a second chance offer the 2nd time it was listed for 7500.... i called him up and spent 10 minutes on the phone and got him to 7... i understand ab the whole low mileage thing but i wish i could see it in person... i would imagine it spent its life down there in fl and a older person had it.. probably only went to church and the golf course but it still seems a bit 2 much... i had the same car but mine had the cd changer and octagone rims and it was ivory pearlescent.. 42k miles. picked it up for 5 grand... only thing that i had to fix was the cupholder and the blend door issue... i like a little bit more chrome so the base model is what im after... the lsc's are nice too but im not lookin to have it as a every day ride... more of a weekend cruiser... i doubt it was abused by the way it looks but i could b wrong... now that the season is starting to change i think he is really gonna have a hard time getting rid of this.... i guess the whole thing with reserving the right to end the auction early covers him legally but ur right, it isnt a good way of doing buisness... he probably has a few of his buddies bidding on the car to bump up the price in hopes of someone outside his circle bites... looks like the lure is attractive but im not gonna bite.... we'll see what happens... even went as far as to offer a trade plus cash but he had no interest in trading any type of vehicle on it... its a game, i know, but its amusing to play sometimes...

Probably nothing, but look at the driver side muffer tip. I agree its not fair to those who are bidding on it.

I once tried to by a vehicle unseen, told the guy to consider it sold and I would be there in 2 hours(drive time). I showed up 1:50 min later and he told me he sold it 15min ago because he was not sure I was coming. I had some special words for him that I wont share here!

im sure you were pretty pissed... i took a flight from philadelphia up to long island ny to check out a 98 lsc... car had @ 50k on it and look great in the pics. i got 50 feet from it and got that sick feelin in my stomach.... lets see, bald tires, hid's didnt work, rear main drippin oil, wipers and moonroof didnt work, holes in rear dash area from 12 inch subs, wires all spliced and cut under dash, and not cats. i was so angry i told the dealer to stick it up his a**. didnt even start the car.. i just turned around an left... i honestly do not think it was the same car as the pictures showed... unreal on how some dealers dont think people know what they r looking at....

thats a pretty good hike..... still too much $ for the car... i wouldnt waste my time drivin that distance either....

update! i just got a email from him stating he would let it go for 6 grand cash... i wish i was closer to it... for 6 g's i would take the ride to see it in person... still, he won't take any trades. there has gotta be something more to this car than what is posted on ebay... dont have a very good feeling ab this car... he seems to be very uptight and comes off as trying to hide something....
