Okay....I'm about to yank all my hair out. Everytime I turn around there seems to be some new "phantom" electrical issue with this car. The other day I had the cruise set and it was working fine. I had to come off of it for a minute to get thru a traffic bottleneck, and when I hit "resume" nothing happened. I thought maybe I had hit the off button by mistake, so i pressed "on" and the horn honked. I messed with it for the rest of my trip (about 100 miles) and all i got was a honking horn. This was only a day trip, and when I got back on the freeway a little while later, the crazy thing was working again. Knock on wood...I've had no problems since that incident. Anyone ever heard of this?

First I've heard of it. Sounds like a possible issue with the clockspring assembly. ::roll::
