Haha, Matt, Bill Cuddy should have your burnout taped. I heard he was planning on uploading them.
Yes, Saturday night was different. We met many locals, including Chris3 who just at one point showed up and sat down with us. Then Phil from Philly, the apparently homeless guy who likes cake and uses a fork (I am so mortified at myself), and the other guy who I don't remember his name. And our charming bartender.
So, I did end up renting the scooter on a day that was so unbearably hot, I hardly even use it. In fact, at one point I was talking to Sleeper near the bathrooms. He was sitting on the scooter and I was standing and Hubby came by and asked WTF? hee hee. I rode it a little bit, but the bumps really hurt, so a few people kept taking turns to use it and go get me things.
Then, thanks to the name tags and shirt which said Carlisle 2008 from the Drillers, some guy came up to me thinking I was a part of the event.
Of course, there's never enough time at these meets. I always leave feeling like I wish I would have spent more time with more people and seen more cars (which in my case includes the conti that was straight across from us which I apparently was too tired to go see).
