Good luck mthegodfather, but I hope that you don't live in one of the hot sunbelt states.
One of my friends tried to get Chrysler to replace a disintegrated Dodge Ram dashboard cover and the out that Chrysler Rep used was, that he had used Armor All on it in the past, and that Armor All caused the problem so they would not replace it under warranty. Do you think Armor all wil pay for the replacement?:fart :fart :fart
Also way back I had a Renault when I lived in San Antonio and the heat got so bad in the car that the speedometer needle actually melted and bent over the peg at 0 mph, so when i drove the speedo needle looked like a limp finger.
You must be from the north or else you will learn to do your best to stop the sun's rays and heat from building in your vehicle. Trying to replace oxidized plastic parts in an older vehicle is not what I would look forward to doing. If you can find them, they are rarely the right color and they are easily subject to chipping if you try to paint them.
So if you intend to keep a classic a classic protect it The dash covers and sunshade can be removed when you want to "show" the car. With a little protection you can actually use and enjoy the vehicle.
Good luck:big-grin:
