Details on Alexander's Wake

For anyone in the area who can make it here are the details for Alexander's wake and funeral. I'm definitely going on Friday evening and to the funeral on Saturday.

Wake:
Friday from 2-5 and 7-9

In lieu of flowers if anyone would like to make a donation that would be greatly appreciated. Please make the donation to Memorial Sloane Kettering Sarcoma Research Fund in memory of Alexander Sosiak.
 
Is anyone from the Chicago area going? I am interested in going to make it to the funeral on Saturday, but Hubby is worried about me driving that distance alone. Also, are there any hotels nearby where the funeral will be which are reasonably priced?
 
Sharon, that is quite a ride. You may be better off flying into JFK or LaGuardia as flights are cheap enough, probably cheaper than driving. I don't know of hotels in that area of Queens but I can check, what do you consider to be reasonably priced?

Thanks Leo, but it looks like I'll stay with Steve. I'm waiting to see if someone will drive with me, but I'm going to check into a train ride. I really don't want to fly for medical reasons right now.
