ME? Omg bite your tongue

Jamie is correct, after I saw his post, I went there with my work pc (xp) and had
no trouble. A couple of days later I went there with my laptop (also xp and the same
anti-virus software) and it was infected & messed up the hard drive.
Not sure why it got the laptop and not the desk machine. I've been traveling for 3 weeks
so I haven't got it fixed.

i also have a laptop thats what it messed up. its fixed now but thats because i have a patient wife if i had to fix it i would have done an NHRA style burn out across the laptop with my car.

I messaged one of the head moderators on Facebook and I'm going to see what he says. I talked to another member on Facebook and he said he read the report on Firefox and 5 computers were infected. This other member says he still gets the warning message, but as far as he knows the threat is gone. He says, if you get repeated warnings, stay off until it is fixed. But it still seems to be a problem? He says if you have a good antivirus software you should be fine. He uses AVAST and told me not to use that "Norton crap". Oh wonderful, that's exactly what I have.

With that said, unfortunately I am still leery about trying to get on over there. :(

driller, have you tried getting on over there?

I've been on there since this came up but the past couple days I have been getting a malware warning from my antivirus so I have stayed away until I get a green light from Mcafee AV.

I love it. "If you have good Anti-virus you'll be fine." Good selling slogan, frequently used on Porn sites.

I recommend and use Eset NOD as an antivirus program, its is top rated and never have I had a problem or annoying pop ups

see and everyone thought i was crazy at first.

Nah, I never thought that. It's obvious that some are more prone to the issue than others, maybe having to do with the o/s system or antivirus software being used and maybe even quite possibly attacking certain IP addresses. Crazy would be going on to the site and hoping your antivirus software does its job. That's not a risk I am willing to take.

Wait....you're NOT crazy? I thought you were self proclaimed crazy! ;)

This is a perfect example of why we need to be aggressive when it comes to our users (new) putting links in there profiles that are malicious.

Useless corollary.
