nice pictures..

nice pictures..

Thanks for sharing! it looks cold there still. i still wanna visit Alcatraz before they tear it down. I love that picture looking out of the arched gateway and into the city. Nice photo skills. :) Did you guys get to eat any Hoffman coonies hotdogs? There legendary in NY. I have my Dad pick me up a case when i go up there to visit him to bring back to FL with me.

Ill stay here in Florida, land of no road tolls except for the bridges. Theres something about getting surrounded by security and scolded for pumping your own gas that doesnt sit right with me still. lol I didnt know and started doing it myself on more than one trip and had to be told to get back in my truck. haha i was looking around for cameras like i was on candid camera or something. Ohh oh i just showed my age. How many remember that TV show?

pics look good and yes it is still cold here

by the way, you are going to have to go west to find alcatraz, as it is off the coast of San Francisco not NYC :D

They ARE good pics....and a great skyline! What kind of a camera took the pics?

I just bought a new Kodak Z712 IS yesterday and need to find some neat subject material to try it out on...it would also be nice to see some SUN!!

Yikes....My "new" camera didn't cost what his "lens" did!!!!!

The lens I was using even cost more then what just the base for that camera cost.

However, you don’t always need an expensive camera to take good shots. That day I was just hand holding the camera and using the auto modes. But when you can take your time, play with settings, use a tripod and take multiple shots you can come up with good shots.

I took this shot using a Sony dcs-t9, I was able to use a tripod, take my time and take lots of shots. Not as good as it would have been with the DSLR but for a little pocket camara it did good. My canon power shot s2 is point and shoot takes very good photos as well.
