That is quite the scene. A dreary morning. Driller, in LOD team uniform, looking out over the tarmac, contemplating the the daunting tasks ahead of him. One can almost hear the opening music from "Top Gun" playing in the background...

I met up with Tim in traffic to the venue here in Birmingham.
Of course I did not know it until he introduced himself and his wife at the showfield. I thought they were tailing me pretty good in their T-bird.

I had fun playing with the 'vettes.
I managed to meet up with Tim and family at the morning drivers meeting in Birmingham then spotted them again at the venue in Mobile. Nice to get to get to put a friendly face with a username.
I have many pics to download, sort and resize.

It was quite a pleasure to meet Mr. & Mrs. Driller while cruising Power Tour.
The wife and I were just driving along heading to Region’s Park when I looked in the mirror and saw a white Mark coming up. I recognized it as Driller’s and we did our best to keep up with him.
Got to hang out with them a little bit and really wished we could have hung out more. I had my ADD friend and my Mom along, and it was nearly a full time job keeping track of them. Next time (there WILL be a next time) we’ll need to have a beer or two. We’ll make sure we drive the Mark then.
There’s just so much to see at these events. Mobile had cars strung over several city blocks which made it even harder to find cars, but we did run into each other near the manufacturers area.
Still it was a great time and I’m really glad I finally got to meet a forum member. Got three cameras worth of pics to sort. Will post some of the good ones soon.

Yeah, but they don't have powerglide seats now do they?
Don't need to, no back seat,
but they do have the easy entry seat where the seat moves back when you get out and goes back to where you set it when you get in.
