Driver Door ajar

Hello, the other day I got the message "Driver Door Ajar". At the time I had just started my car. Also my door locks would not stay locked. I would click lock and they would unlock. After about 5 mins the light went off and the car was ok. But now every time I get in the car I get a "right door ajar" message. it will be on from 30 secs up to 5 mins seems. Any idea what could be doing this?

This can be fixed with WD40. Spray the door latch...use plenty of the fluid. Open-close the door..it will eventually go out. Do a search on "Door Ajar" and you will find many, many discussions about this. As long as you got the car there, do the other door too....saves you the trouble of watching the light come on later.
