1972 DeTomoso Pantera GT, 351 Boss, 500 HP, 5 speed ZF tranaxle, new rubber, RED, black interior(new seats), new battery, new fuel pump(electric), new windshield. Very fast.. I have had it to 180 in 4th gear. 4 wheel power disc brakes, 15 inch real magnesium wheels. lots of spare parts, all orginal parts and orignal ZF manuals with orginal Ford TSB Pantera book.

Moving to our Colorado River home and we only have a 3 car garage so some toys have to go. Since it is a 2 mile gravel road into the place and both cars are in great shape they have to go. And we want to keep the jet ski's and offroad toys to play with at the river/mountains.

A very strange thing happened. My wife wanted me to sell 2 cars so I chose the Pantera and the 98 CE. She asked how much would I really let them go for. I said $15,000 for both.
5 days later she hands me a check from her 401K savings.
Then she hands me the title back to the Pantera.

She loved her 1993 Lincoln that we sold to Calente65.
I have been in the dog house ever since. Now she is very happy and drives the Mark every day.
But I now have no control of when and where she drives it. It is HER car. So it is getting 60 miles a day with her driving it to work.
I still get to maintain it and get to drive it when we go together someplace. And now we take her car as I would always take the truck.

I was going to buy her a VX, but the ride of the Lincoln is far superior. I am also a happy guy.
