Before I start looking for suspension parts one question: What parts from the Tbird and year can be used on the Gen 1 Mks?? Thank you all in advance for your input!!:)

Ya, pretty much everything except the upper control arms if you are keeping the air suspension. The uppers have the ball-stud locator for the sensor.

When you are looking around I would check at Advance Auto for the lower control arms TRW brand ,the Mark Vlll's were actually cheper than the T'Birds several months ago.

I don't know why I automaticly assumed struts and springs....
I ran into the same thing Roadboss mentioned, after people telling me to to buy Tbird stuff because it was cheaper.....

I just checked Rockauto on the MOOG lower control arm with bushings and the 94 Tbird one is $52 and change, and the one for the 93 Lincoln is $116 and change if they are the same why the diff? I guess they expect a Lincoln owner to pay a premium cuz its a Lincoln.:( The part numbers are different though.

i get lowers at advance for 52 bucks each, and the uppers are like 69 each, all TRW and they always have them instock i never have to wait, i go in, and come out with them in hand, and when i need the stuff, i need it quick, and they are a block over from my shop, so even if i could find them cheaper, you cant get 5 minute service from anyone so i'll pay more if i can have them right away.

Most of the time if it isn't in stock they can have things over night from their regional warehouse, but I'm sure different parts of the country may vary. In your part of the world Jamie I would expect them to be instock (more Mark's per capita).
