I want everyone to know that while occasionally I may refer to GM
that my experience at the dealership level while trying to get
warranty work done, left me with a really bad taste in my mouth.
I ate a motor with 28K on it only because I have another motor to put in.They are a convoluted mess and unable to get my recommendation.

RE: GM products

I can't make much sense out of your post. Can you give us more details as to how the engine broke and what happened? You had to purchase another engine?

RE: GM products

My blazer engine locked up at 28K.The dealer said they didnt know why
but they were pretty sure it was my fault.Gave it back in pieces and charged me 1000 dollers. They said it was 10 days out of warranty.Asked me if I had ever changed the engine oil.Said it was a quart low.I dont think so.Gm was even less help.I have an interest
in a salvage and rebuild business,I know a little about the auto business.Anyway I just waited for a low mileage unit that had been hit in the rear to go thru auction,Think I paid 400,swapped motor
and its back on road. They wanted to charge 5000 for another motor.
This is the third motor in less than four years.
Yeah....I got that great GM feeling..Its called the shaft.
Sorry if i sound like a cry baby
