Going Drag Racing..........REAL Drag Racing!!!!

For my 30th birthday my woman got me a one-day class in drag racing!!! It will be at ATCO in south jersey, and I’ll get to drive an 8-second car down the old quarter mile!! I don’t know what kind of car it will be, I’m assuming it will be a pro-stock car (tuned down a tad) with a parachute, giant slicks, and a slap-stick tranny! I do know the car will have over 600HP.

As of know I’m scheduled for August 19th. I’ll let you know how it goes! How many of you have gone 8-seconds in the quarter!!!!

This is the greatest present I have ever received and I haven't even gone yet!!

Sweet! I got the Richard Petty driving experience for my graduation, i'm planning on doing that in October. Driving a really fast car is going to be cool!

Sounds nice! I'm hoping if I can squeeze in a vacation this year, I can get to a nearby road track and attend a all-day event called 'Friday At The Track' with high-performance driving classroom instruction and track time(closed course road racing).
