Good deal on a subwoofer?

Hey guys, a good friend of mine has a Cerwin Vega Stroker 15" Subwoofer (Dual 2 ohm VC) he is offering to sell me for $175.... Its been sitting in his closet for a while. Its new in the box, still in its pretty cellophane! DO yall think its a good deal, and can I squeeze it in my trunk?? I hope I get a yes on this!! If not, I am thinking Kicker Solobarics.

depends on what u want. if u want all out booming bass, then the vega is for u. its not accurate at all but it wins SPL competitions. the kicker can give u a mix of both or all out SPL, just not at the same level as the vega.
