Had my 9th LODer visit today

Bud Pytko and his wife, Penny drove up from Millersville, Maryland, on their way to upstate New York. Stopped off for some lite bites and good company. He has a nice silver Mk 8 equipped with aftermarket XT radio. We took some photos of greenKIN and Penny took some of Bud & I next to the Grey McLaren Coupe in his rented garage. Bud will be sending them to me and I'll get them up on the site. Weather and company was sunny & bright! They liked all the cars, but went especialy Ga - Ga over the Fleetwood 60 Spcl.
Bud's alot of fun & I hope more of you guys get to meet him. He's a wealth of knowledge & info.

MonsterMouth!!! Ha Ha, Ha Ha, Ha! Actually pretty damn funny if I didn't think it might stick. Oh well, you play with fire, you might get burned. I'll wear that monicker with honor. At least everybody will know I will always stand up for truth, justice, and the American way. Maybe a few toes get stepped on, a few personalities get stung, but, it is for the good of all involved.

Estate?? Foothills?? Very funny.


Edit: Maybe like the rest of the hand-wringers around here, I should file a grievance against the Chairman for a personal attack, resulting in a one-week suspension for our esteemed leader. I could never get myself to push the alert button, ever, but I am sure there are lots of you with your fingers on the button at all times. I am also quite sure that most of you will end up showing "restraint" this time because of certain extenuating circumstances, ie: the need to overlook or change the rules as we see fit.

Can't you guys see where all these rules have led us. The guy, Sandy, makes a good joke, but all the hair-triggers can potentially destroy all the good ribbing. This is one of the best examples of where the site has gone wrong these last 2 years. Sure, I could file a grievance, but why. I only hope this example leads to a more relaxed atmosphere and a more kindred spirit.

Don't worry Sandy, it was a good joke. I can take it. Better hope I don't come up with a good one for you. LOL.

Relax, I just filed a grievance alert! As soon as I get it, I'll deal with it :p (BTW, I didn't mean it personal, I was jus being funny ~ So...It's NOT an Estate, nor is it in the foothills. It's a medocre house across from a park with alot of dog crap & Bud Lite cans) ....

Hey, I see Moe was given the power to change the site. I wonder when a Moderator was given the power to make these changes. Kind of makes you wonder what the Chairman, President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, and 5 additional board members are doing when they obfuscate their duties to the head moderator?

Edit: Was this voted on and approved by the Board for the Moderator to make these changes??? If so, OK by me. If not voted on or directed by the Board, why not?

Edit: Gee, and I also wonder who the character is that keeps on logging on illegally using someone else's name.

Just an FYI, I was asked by the BOD to do this because I was the only one who had the time and knowledge to do it.
I guess some will never learn how to say "Thank you" no matter how stupid they look ::roll::

I asked Moe to do the reorganization of the message board today. This was posted about in the boardroom over a month ago, and didn't recieve any objections. Since according to the current charter this message board doesn't exist, that's good enough.

I would have made the changes myself, but it was nice out and i went to the dragstrip.

Thanks Dave for the clarification. Too bad the Moderator made it sound like it was his decision. That is why I asked the question. Here again, a concerned, paying member asking a question is belittled and insinuated to be stupid.

I wish it was a Board member making these changes. You know, an elected official vs an appointed one.

Here's a good idea. Why don't you post the minutes from all these meetings in the "members only" area so we all know what is going on? I believe if a paid member of a "club" asks to see the minutes, it is a requirement of the club to do so. Or you can simply snail mail or email the minutes to me. I sure someone can provide clarification if I am mistaken.

Then again, if this board really doesn't exist, I guess there is no need for minutes, right. See how quick I catch on. I MUST be getting smarter by the day.
