Headliner

Hey guys been a while...

"A funny thing happened to me on the way to work...." I touched the headliner and it desintigrated EVERYWHERE I touched it!!! Now people behind me see this rag-like thing hanging in the rear window. The whole thing is a loss, what I need is some tips, suggestions; does anyone offer an after-market headliner?

What can I do?::nono::

Upholstery shop?

Yea but isn't that alot of money + I'll be without the car? I didn't know if anyone else ran into this issue. It was so brittle, man it turned to dust.

RE: Headliner

I have seen headliners fail like that as a result of a car that was smoked in. I can think of a few options, used, try the dealer and see if you can order a new one, or car upholstery shop. I had fabric replaced on a seat cover once and it was not as much money as I thought it was going to be. It is always free to get quotes.

RE: Headliner

Cool, thanks for the link; While I am at it (whatever it is I figure out to do) I HATE the colors of the interior, white and light brown, so maybe I'll try to change things up a bit, anyone got some Gen 2 seats they want to trade for some white leather ones???

I'm sure the stealership will kill me for that item, but like you said "It is always free to get quotes"

Thanks guys.

My 96 had been smoked in and the headliner looked like someone had taken a razor blade to it, it was that bad. Thankfully my 94 has not been smoked in.
