Been some time since my last post, as life had me busy for almost a decade. Hope everyone is doing well. When I had time, I have posted my whereabouts on the social media sites. The Mark is doing well, sitting in the garage, and coming out maybe once a month to the Caffeine and Octane car show.

I retired a little over a year ago, and slowly looking to get back into my Mark VIII hobby. Seems like I am a lone wolf in the metro ATL, as people have moved on to other things. What has everyone been up to?

Good to hear you and The Mark are still alive and well!

There's still a handful of regulars around. As for myself, I too retired at the end of '23 and try to find time to play or work with my Mark VIIIs, though it can be overwhelming at times to keep up with the aging fleet. The Carlisle All-Ford Nationals, the Hot Rod Power Tour and the Lincoln Homecoming are my favorite annual venues.

Good to hear JP! Enjoy retirement! Wendy and I have been busy with grandchildren in Raleigh, Chattanooga, and Augusta. Also been travelling to Memphis, Hot Springs, Orlando, and Port St Lucie recently.

Been racking up the miles in the A8L, but averaging 36-38 mpg in the diesel beast.

Hi Mike, welcome back. Retiree here as well, I'm still driving and working on my Mark VIII's here in Michigan. I think the last time I saw you was at a meet at Jeremi's house in Farnington hills.

Nice to hear from you Bill and Norm! Enjoy your retirement! Bill, I will be heading to Michigan in June, Wendy has been planning to see family. It has been a long time since I have been to Detroit. Norm, Hope you are OK from your accident. Hope the XT5 is treating you good!

It's hard to believe that so much time has passed. I can't remember how long I've been a member here but my 1996 was fairly new when I bought it. There were so many members and hard to keep up with all the posts. I was in my mid 40's when I joined and now 73 and retired for 13 years. I miss those times and I hate being old.

Welcome, Mike! I'm pleased to see your post. it feels like we're having a bit of a reunion here lately. Congrats on your retirement! It sounds like your Mark is getting out and about just often enough. I'm already looking forward to spring so I can do the same.

Thanks Mike! In the 60's - 70's here. Went to the car show yesterday. Had a great time!
