HELP...please

Does anyone know of a mechanic in the Nashville area that actually knows anything about these cars? No one I've talked to seems to know how to work on them (except the dealers) and I've been screwed one too many times by them. The tire place where I go said they don't even know how to replace the lower control arms. What kind of idiots are these people. My car is a rare dark blue '97 LSC with 90000 miles. I don't have the space or the tools, or I would replace them myself. My other pressing issues are the blend door and the wiper motor. I may tackle the wiper motor, but the blend door is another issue altogether. Pulling the dash out looks like more of a pain than I want to deal with...so...if anyone knows of someone who can help......I'm even willing to drive a bit to find someone reliable.

It isn't that hard to replace the lca's, I just did it 2 weeks ago. Any competent shop should be able to do it. If you got the cash you could take it to a bigger shop. Maybe Pepboys... anyone else? Who sells a lot of tires in the nashville area. Is there a Tiresplus dealer in Nashville. If I had the time maybe we could meet up and fix your car but I am on the busy side of work right now. I'm also about 3 hours drive away. I know Pepboys can help you. They quoted me a price of three hundred with me suppling the parts. Give me a yell if you got more questions.

Thanks...There's a Pepboys near me. I'll check with them. I'm not sure if there's a Tiresplus here, but I'll check into that, as well. The best price I can find on the parts is thru RockAuto.com. If you know of a better place to get them, please advise. Thanks for your help.:)

I probably should have tried him, but I went ahead and ordered them at Advance. Paid under 250 for both arm assemblies(tax included). From what I have researched, that's not a bad price. I think I may have found a reliable shop that will put them on for less than 3 pints of blood and my first born. ;)
