OCCUPY LoD :)
Well....so much has happend to me in the last 8 months so I'm gonna make it short for now.

I graduated the CHP academy on Dec. 21st and got assigned to the West Valley Office in Woodland Hills, CA (the nice part of L.A., 20 minutes north of Malibu). I asked my girlfriend at the time to marry me on the same day and she said yes (wedding is on Sept. 20th). I sold the Shark to get something more reliable and fitting for my relocation to L.A. and purchased a 2005 Honda S2000....yellow, ofcourse, haha. (Pics to come some time) Yesterday (Friday) was my official FIRST DAY ON MY OWN! w00t! No more training partner, no more long hours and taking reports home, no more academy, and no more overwhelmed Jesse, haha.

Been meeting some cool people....Jay Leno waved to me after stopping at a red light next to me. Worked a protective detail for Hillary Clinton when she came into town. Worked a detail with Kathy Ireland and Erik Estrada. :)

You'd better be stopping by here often and keep us updated on your life!!! You STILL have all that knowledge of the M8 in your grey matter and we need your input!
 
Hey Jesse... I need to call you up. I just got back from Cancun!!!

I told you about my story about Erik Estrada lol !!!

That day when I came to see during graduation was all kinds of tiring... I had 2 hrs of sleep. Then 2-3 hrs of driving thanks to the fact that I ended up at the wrong place.

Trixie....thanks! I knew I could come share my wild trip with you guys and you'd appreciate it. Glad you like the car! :) I plan on getting another Mark at some point, but the Shark wasn't too practical.

Bud...that'd be sweet if I stopped Britney, but she's probably a betch(search you tube for "shoes" video), I'd probably have to fight off the poparazzi though. You know I'll be by often....spending time with you guys was always fun and working on cars is a passion of mine. Plus I love to help people out.

JP....thanks man. I was sad to see it go and really didn't "need" to sell it, but its in good hands and still in the "family". My best friend for 20 something years owns it now and down the road I may want it back so that makes it easy.


I just tried the "multiqoute" for the first time...that worked great! I re-subscribed too so hopefully I can be a "member" again! :)

Great pics and awesome accomplishments. Congratulations! I was in a similar situation about 8 years ago... new wife, new job, etc. and sold my first Mark too. In retrospect, I should have kept the car and foregone the wife. Kidding, kidding. :)

My brother-in-law is graduating from the Virginia police academy - I've heard the stories (not sure I could cope with the pepper-spray-to-the-face training) and seen the battle wounds... credit to you for sticking with it. I'd imagine that's such a rewarding career.

Ya...we got OC to the FACE...man that f'n sucked. We also got tear gassed AND tazed, but not at the same time, haha. The tazing was voluntary....I did it, haha.
 


This is my classmate getting tazed, I don't have a video of mine because I did it the prior week.

So how does it feel driving that little Honda? It looks like the fastest matchbox I've ever seen! ;)
