Hey guys, Click the link, and go to the HID Album.

I finally got the lenses sanded down to 2000 grit, tomorrow Ill hit em with the polishing compound, and the buffer and they will be done. The fiberglass is done on one of the housings (I got tired of working on them), and called it quits.

Let me know what you think.

Those are cool, but with the same beveled lenses I'm not sure the light output is going to be any better. The light will still be focused down and to the right. Even with the HID lenses the light is aimed down and to the right, but with the clear lenses the light freely passes through the lenses.

If you will notice, I have pictures of the stock lenses being sanded down. I knocked em down with 36 grit then worked all the way up to 2000. After that I polished them with a polishing wheel, and the corners, I did by hand.

The lenses are perfectly clear, but MIGHT be a little thin. I aimed the lenses using the vertical, and horizontal reference lines cast in to the side of the housing. I am also working on a way to facilitate heat removal to prevent over heating.

man, i feel like a dick for saying this but i just bought some super clear housings and some h4 bulbs that outblast any HID's ive ever seen for about $130 combined for my jeep. amazing output.

i gotta say though, kudo's on the light project. i had a plan to eliminate the housings altogether and just 'glass some high powered driving lights (possibly HID) into that area. if u chose the proper lights, u could make it look remarkably like it was stock lined up next to each other.
