Didnt you know that adding a few hundred pounds to your "Performance car" makes it go faster?
He prolly needs nitrous to make his car as fast as it was before he put all that weight it in.
In my book, you should do one or the other, make it fast or put extra weight in stereo equipment in it, but dont do both because its counter productive.
