New here, my name is Jesse. Some of you folks may already know me from LvC. I recognize a few names.
Anyway, always heard of this place, never got around to signing up, now I finally did!
If you dont know me, well, my name is Jesse Talmage and I live in Sardinia, Ohio. I bought a '93 Midnight Opal Mark Viii back in '08 to use as a daily transportation, and as a project car. I drove it for almost exactly a year before totalling it by hitting a 10pt. buck on the highway at night. It's been almost 2 years now since I wrecked it, but it's finally almost back together. In the process I've started rebuilding the suspension and adding some custom touches to the car before I take the step to get it inspected and retitled. It's been slow goings but I'm ready to get back in the drivers seat!
My Mark is a low optioned mid-93 Car purchased w/ 124k, now has 156k, no sunroof, no cell phone, no jbl sound, just bare bones, the way I like em. Only thing I figure it has on it as far as options is the traction assist. It's got black interior, which I love, instead of the grey, or the ugly peanut butter tan. I plan to hub swap the car some day soon and run FR500's. I just put 2nd gen air struts on the front as well. Car also has an '03 Mustang GT trans that's been swapped, Jmod'd, stock converter warmed over, and reassembled by DirtyD0g. I also built a custom cold air intake for the car as well.
My screen name comes from my true car addiction.... Mustangs. I currently own 4 of them. Would love to have more but space is tight right now!
First stang was my first car when I was 15, my grandma's 1977 Mustang II. 2.3L/C3 auto. hatchback, yellow on the outside, yellow on the inside! 65k on the clock now! had 36k when I got it!
2nd stang was an '89 GT I bought for $500, put an engine in, and used it as a daily for about 6 months before I totalled it in the snow (mustang II was getting it's radiator re-cored at the time) it has since been scrapped, so I dont own it now.
3rd stang is my '94 GT 5.0L/5speed. Bought this car almost 6 years ago now... wow time flies! It has 235,xxx miles on it now, and is faster than the day I bought it! you just cant kill a good running 5.0!
4th Stang I own is an '88 LX hatchback, turning it in to a 5.0/5speed GT. It was a 4cyl/5 speed. It's been on jackstands for almost 5 years. it's "project snowball"
Lastly, 5th stang I've owned, and 4th that I currently have, is my '85 LX coupe. Got the car for free, it has porno red interior, and is getting a 460 swap, and it will be under the stock hood!
