apparently telling someone to take a flying leap at a rolling dounut
can be interpreted as anything the human resources dept. wants to.
My super just cowerd in the corner as they convicted me of being a bad person.I told a jounior technician who I had crossed paths with a few months ago to suck it up and go back to school and get more certifications if he wanted to make more money. He was always asking me about my salary and I told him that could be construed as an ethics violation, said my tax return was a matter of public record and if he wanted to know my salary he should get a copy of my tax return.
Then I used really big words on him, told him I tierd of him sullying around
with his heart on his sleeve and to be more productive. This guy came unglued, ran around the place asking what that meant, beeline to human resources, conviction on my part, oops.Anyway I think the state labor relations board might want to become part of this hoe down.I also sent some emails to the plant manager and the company president.Me omy,me and my big mouth, open mouth insert foot.Im taking a poll, how many people think this may be actionable in legalese sense.Im going to madi gras for a week.

Uh oh. Are you union?

All the states have different laws, I think. I was fired from my job and filed a claim with the EEOC which I won, but it didn't do anything for me except a moral victory.

But what, they just let you go with no investigation, interviews, etc? That just doesn't sound right.

A moral victory is better than nothing at all trixie and thats fine with me.
These people have internal problems anyway. As the saying goes, when god closes one door he opens another.I have 15 years experience and headhunters were calling me once a week anyway.
I think that excerpt from MLK is really beautiful.
