This is not a ? for me but for a friend with a 93 Mark ,he doesn't have a computer as of now ,I told him about our club, but since he doesn't have a computer at this time I suppose I will just be a middle man, His front bags will no longer vent after parking when he closes the door no whoosh, and the fron end stays way up and back vent, what can i tell him short of buying new struts?...as for me air ride problems are no more, I did the strutmasters lowered conv. and although i ran into a few probs and it taking a little longer than expected the result is GREAT!, I took pics while in progress, and, finished results...man it looks and rides terriffic, not as smooth as air ride but darn close . I was going to post pics but the darn digi camera somthins wrong I'll post asap though. thanks for helping out my friend though.

RE: if front bags don't vent

It did that to me - and it proved to be a bad air pump - not bad struts.

The pump includes a solenoid that vents the system - and when it starts sticking or not working correctly - you get a high front or rear or both - or it slams.

It could be something else - but the description points to "pump time".

RE: if front bags don't vent

thanks ,I'll send the info on,he will be happy its not the struts,is there a way to be sure a test @ the dealer or somthing?

RE: if front bags don't vent

Might just need a spider valve if they are not venting, it takes over venting duties from the compressor. If compressor still pumps up the bags, let the spider valve vent them. The vent in the compressor can get gummed up after a while.

RE: if front bags don't vent

It could also be the solenoids on one or both of the bags, but i think it may be pump time or spider valve time also.

I agree..spider valve.

Pump will probably last quite a bit longer than the vent solenoid.
If the pump DOES pump the car up..
Then just get the spider valve from Eddie.
You wont be sorry.

Then.. when and IF you need a new pump, again get it from Eddie.
He will extend your warranty on the new pump if you already HAVE his spider valve.

He created the spider valve because it replaces the "KNOWN PROBLEMATIC" area of the "vent soleniod".
Eddie knows what he's doing.
dont second guess him.

"trust me".
