ignition key

RE: ignition key

Easy.

I don't remember how much it cost.

1) Disconnect battery
2) Remove lower plastic from steering wheel cover. (in theory, you can do this with the plastic on, but I've never been that lucky (the hole in the plastic never lined up with the hole in the outer lock assembly.))
3) Rotate the key to RUN. This aligns hole.
4) Using a small diameter pin punch, install punch tip into hole.
5) Apply upward force on punch when jiggling and pulling on ignition lock/key assembly.
6) PLINK! Springs and small parts go everywhere.

(Just kidding about #6.)

RE: ignition key

i got it from autozone for 15 buck real easy to put in but getting the old one out with out a key is kinda hard and req.. a hammer and flat head driverto pop it out and maybe a drill to drill out the lil pin at the bottom
