in my 95 mark VIII, on the drivers visor there is a keypad, with three unmarked buttons.
i dont have a manual, or know anyone that knows much about mark VIIIs so im wondering what is it? i havent messed with it because im worried it has something to do with the alarm and as you all know you dont wanna mess with that!
if anyone can tell me what it is i'd appreciate it

ahh now that is cool.
theres going to be alot more "Stupid" questions coming from me in the future.
like i said i have no exprience with mark VIIIs, im lucky to have this one, my boyfriends father passed away and we got it.
i had never even seen a mark VIII before that.
so im learning as i go.

That is really easy to set, just push and hold the button for a minute untill the light starts flashing, keep it pushed in and with your other hand push your garage door opener button and it will pickup and store the signal. Then the button should be activated and you can take your garage opener out of the car.
