I'm not usually one to get caught up with sugary sweet pop songs and beer commercials, but this woman from the Heineken commercials just mesmerizes me and so does the song. This is the three minute version of the commercial (more of a music video really):

The band is from Denmark, which explains the weird accent. I'm really going out on a limb here admitting I like this, so take it easy on me. :D

She's definitely got the charisma that's for sure. Tried to get into the song but there is just something wierd about it that I couldn't put my finger on, although I like that type of music.

At 2:36 they did a bad cut and it shows her singing in the lower left corner although in the song she's humming.

It's much better than those rap commercials.

I still hate that beer though.:D
 
The girl's name is Mette Lindberg. If you've ever heard Bjork, they both share that Scandinavian accent which gives them both a kind of weird sound when pronouncing words. Almost like a little girl. There are several vids of interviews with her out there and she seems like a genuinely sweet, unpretentious girl, not like the typical pop stars who believe that everything she says is "important" or "deep". Nor does she need to latch onto some political cause or be a total slut like "Lady" Gaga. She just loves to sing and entertain people. I really hope this commercial catapults them to stardom. I wish them the best.
