Just finished Installing my new steering joint from DLF. 
First off Thank you:thumbsup:, I'd bought this for my Cougar but ended up buying the Mark. I almost didn't install it in the Mark after seeing that the rag joint was in good condition, but there's no point in just having parts sitting on the shelf. With the new steering feel I'm glad I swapped it in.
Only issue: I effed up on the install... The thing must only be off by a spline or two but that translates into a crooked steering wheel. I know I should remove it and try again but with me as the mechanic that's kind of a crapshoot :fart hehe.
I need to have an alignment done soon anyways would it be acceptable practice to allow them to correct this at the tierods? it's off by so little I don't think I'd lose a noticeable amount of steering rotation, BUT what do you guys think?
