Lincoln dealer wants to buy my car....>

[DOHC MARK VIII]

Got a letter from the local Lincoln dealer today stating that they "need to acquire several pre-owned 1995 Mark VIII's in order to fulfill special manufactors requests and the new car manager has been authorized to buy back my vehicle".

Just my luck....the resale value of Mark VIII's drops to nothing and they offer me a dollar for it (LOL). My son is presently enjoying my 1995 Mark VIII and I don't think the dealer can top that.

Thats their new slogan now, my dealer told me the same thing... but he said that they need to fill their used car invertory... but i got it about the Crown Vic and about the Mk8...

Gosh and I thought I was just special . So your saying that the $500 trade in for my Mark VIII is not a good deal for their $40,000+ 2004 Lincoln "Whatever they got on the lot"? :7

I was born at night....but not last night (LOL). I have never had a car dealer "sell" me a car. I've always "bought" the one I wanted, sometimes not as cheap as I wanted but it was still the one I wanted, not the one he was selling .
