The Mark VIII went back today 
To many problems that weren't in the game plan and I never wanted to deal with from the get-go (long story)...
I hope the next owner either gets it cheap enough to fix some of the problems or just has the cash to do it, unfortunatly this wasn't in my plans for it (beautiful looking car though, esp after I spent hours cleaning/waxing it!) So anyone in southern Ontario: 'Caveat Emptor'
I wouldn't have even found out so much info if it hadn't been for the CarProof report, which imho is better than CarFax for Canadian cars, as well as a good mechanic here I know that tipped me off, and a couple body shops too in the end that confirmed it...
I did pick up a lil '93 Escort very cheap to get me around till I find another VIII thou
...so the search continues...
