So I sold my old 98 mark viii to my sis but she lost the key....
I have called the Lincoln dealership but they cannot make me another one.
Were can I get one.
Do I need to buy another switch?

Looks like eBay is one of the last places around.

Says these work for a 97 Mark Viii....may be worth trying.

That was my first thought also, but I don't think she has a key to make a copy of.

Any locksmith can cut a new one for you. Likely they can program for you too. Be prepared to pay upwards of $150 for it.

How will they know how to cut the key and the PATS code without having a key to copy from?

So all any locksmith has to do is get the vin off my dash and he could steal my car I thought a lot of locksmiths were x-cons
