Long Island Custom Car Show

RE: Long Island Custom Car Show

Congrats, Leo. I know what you mean about the trucks, and their bling, audio, video, ground effects, lighting, carpetting, custom enclosures, etc. Some of those people spend so much time with the custom installations, that you sort of forget what your even looking at. They could just be a sheet of plywood on wheels, and they'd look the same.

Your ElCo, on the otherhand, is a fine example of tasteful aftermarket appointments in a modified fashion. No over-kill, not "excessive use of chrome". Just simple, yet flashy all at the same time. But one glance, and it is still an El Camino, not a rolling video arcade/dance club.

Congrats, for a well-deserved top honor. I too would be shocked as you were. Not because your car isnt worthy(we know it is) but because typically, the boom-boom trucks win all the shows.

Not this time!

have a fun winter, dont tinker too much, and we'll look for more show updates next spring!

RE: Long Island Custom Car Show

I am sorry I missed that show. Leo congratulations on your win.

When I was in college I went to that show every year. I did not even have a car yet.
