i know you can adjust the height manually BUT can you adjust it enough to lower the car and inch or so without messing something up? i woud like to lower the car and inch or two and didnt know if i can do it safetly and correctly (as correct as possible without buying stuff).

An inch is about as low as you can go in the front without doing some modifications. You can go as low as you want in the back.

Not wanting to get too radical, I have lowered my 98 CE just enough that you can slip your finger straight in (level) 1 finger clearance between the edge of the tread and fender lip. Not having quite so much air in the bags will improve the ride slightly. My car sits level at the wheel wells, and one inch lower in the front than the back, measured at the rocker panels right next to the wheel wells. I have never hit the bump stops, and usually have no problem entering or exiting driveways.

For the fronts, move the whole bracket with the ball on it, up. If you look at the mounting surface in the frame, there is a horizontal opening where you can remount the bracket without drilling any new holes. One bolt will still be in a hole in the bracket, and the other one will be at the edge, where just the flange will catch the edge of the bracket. Move the ball connector all the way to the top of the slot in the bracket. For the rear, take the bottom bolt out and leave it out. Move the bracket up on the frame til there is about 1/4" slot left showing in the bracket below the bolt. The rears are pretty sensitive, and you may need to readjust it til you get it right where you want it.

i kinda was the rear to sit slightly higher than the front. i like that stance more for some reason. what do you all think abotu polished cobra wheels on it?

I guess I like to be different. NO MORE POLISHED WHEELS for me! I'll go with chrome or clear coated machined. Never again will I be a slave to a polished alloy wheel. I am much happier spending that time cleaning/polishing the interior and exterior. If I were to buy wheels for my CE, I would go with 18X8.5 Chrome Cobra Y2K's.
