Magna Flows & X Pipe - anyone sell a kit?

Okay, I'm convinced. I want to upgrade my Cat-Back exhaust before I buy a Chip or programmer (haven't figured what's best there).

Does someone sell a kit of say the 2.5" pipe, X-Tube and Mufflers that is already cut to fit our cars so that I can just take it to Midas and say "put this in - trash the stock stuff!"?

I'd like to have a "tuned" setup that is succesful on '98 LSC's. If not I guess I can just go to Tognotti's (our local supershops) and pick up a couple mufflers and then go to Midas and say "build it with these."

Oh, and here's the big part (and "sucky" part) . . . I live in California so I can't do anything with the Cat. Converters. And the setup needs to be "smog legal" in all 50. . . though, I'd be willing to take a shot at removing that "3rd" cat. converter and seeing if "the man" has a problem with it (it should still pass the sniffer and they won't crawl under to check I'm sure . . . especially if I use one of my friends' shops).

I'd prefer to buy a kit all together if someone makes it already.

I got the pipes, mufflers (they will make you drool) and tips from Dan. No install yet, but hopefully soon.

Sharon, make sure you take a bunch of pics of the install and final results. I'm game to do the same on the '98.

Yes, I would like to see that setup as well, as I am looking at purchasing it too. Which mufflers did you purchase Sharon?

As far as removing the 3rd "cat", it shouldn't be a problem as it is only a resonator. All it really does is aide in quieting the car's exhaust a little more.

Hey Sharon those pipes look beautiful. Not familliar with the black thing on chair. Is that some kind of hiflow cat?

The black things are my tunable mufflers. :) I like to think of them as the bling without the bling. ;-) I can't wait to get this system installed!

I have the 2-1/2" single X kit from ART. Waiting on a local installer to scrounge up tips and set up an appointment. I have the DynoMax UltraFlows for mufflers - no big black tunable mufflers like Sharon's. ;) Nope, no bling for my exhaust - just functionality.

I didn't think Meineke would do custom installs? When I got my '91 LSC, Meineke wouldn't do the needed exhaust work unless it was stock replacement. That wasn't going to happen, so $250 later at a custom exhaust shop, the LSC had a no-nonsense 2-1/2" cat back system, DynoMax Super Turbo's and 2-1/4" tails. Purrs like a kitten(well, a big cat anyways). :)

Yeah, I should clarify - from Dan I got the single x system, the second x pipe pictured I bought from Husker or something quite a while ago.

And I think Dan has lots of choices for mufflers/tips. I just wanted something really different.

Ryan, hopefully I'll get this installed before we come out to Cinci.
