Major kills tonight

Hey Guys,
The nitrous system is in full effect.
Tonight on Francis Lewis Blvd on my way to buy some coffee creamer,
I wasn't able to get home.

I first came up on a new M3 with a stick revving me at the light.
Toasted him easy.

Next was a 89 Iroc Z sporting 350 TPI badges and a flowmaster,
he saw me toast the Bimmer and wanted to play.
Took him by 2-3 car lenths.

Next was a new WRX complete with fart can ,dash full of gauges, and some kind of turbo boost (it wistled LOUD between shifts).
I rev my motor to get his attention and his girlfriend is laughing at me.
To my suprise I beat him by 1-2 carlenths,3 yes 3, differnt times and I had no traction out of the hole compared to him.
The kid was so embarresed he pulled over and parked rather then face me at the light again.
Truthfully I thought he would toast me off the line at least,
But my 4:10's really helped with this one once I hooked up.

At this point I was out looking for trouble.

Long story short after 3 more kills
(90? mustang 5.0 stick,
late model 4.6 mustang auto ? and a Civic with nitrous all riced out).

Then I am on my way home when I guess word got around.
I had been cruising and racing for 2 1/2 - 3 hours.
When a Cammy 86 or so Monte SS pulls up and says to me :
"excuse me SIR I heard your car was quick and do you want to run?"
He said he had a warmed up ZZ3 crate motor and gears.
I told him all I had were gears,MAF and a chip, and by the way please don't call me SIR.
At this point he is stalling his converter to like 3 grand.
Light changes and out of the hole he takes me by a car as soon as I hit 2nd gear I juice it and took him by about 1/2 a carlenth on a 5-6 block strech.
Next light comes up and he's still stalling up.
Green light, same outcome only this time I juice 10 feet off the line and took him by a full car.

I was the talk of the town tonight,
The old guy in the Lincoln !
It was well worth the $40 in NOS I used.

Special thanx to Geno ,
without your help I wouldn't have had a night like this.
Now I got to get back to the track and see what happens on paper.

RE: Major kills tonight

Beautiful. What kind of tires are you running on? And how big of a nitrous shot?

I am running Kumho 711's 245-50-16 and am very happy with them for the price, but I need to buy the street slicks that Walt has.

NOS kit is a 5115 with 100 shot.
This week I will buy the 125 pill for it.
Other mods are:
LMS fuel pump
LMS chip
LMS 900 CFM MAF
LMS Icebox
LMS adj fuel reg
LMS Air intake tube
4:10's with trac loc
Jerry spec tranny with adj line pressure switch
MSD 8 mm wires

I wish that my car was running like this the day we did
MM&FF luxobarge shootout II

Steve,
I never did get my creamer, but I was creaming all night.

Way to "cream'em"...."Old Man" :7(LOL). What did it feel like..low 13's.....perhaps maybe a high 12?????? :).

These cars amaze me sometimes that ocasionally that they seem to run just a little bit better than at other times. I usually chalk it up to the weather conditions but you never know.....like ballplayers the sometimes get on hot streaks and just seem to run better.

Bill,
It's hard to tell, Butt-O-meter says low 13's or better.
Like you said sometimes these cars just run right and last night was perfect ,very cool and no humidity at all and a over-filled bottle
of NOS, (12 LBSin a 10 LBS bottle).

Leo,
Your just a silly ,sillly man.
:)
PS,
Took 1st at Cunningham park with the Chevelle today.

Saw the kid in the WRX at the show and he CLAIMS he wasn't even out last night.

Dave(97 LSC)represented the Marks today.

I love it what a great weekend !!!!!!

RE: Major kills tonight

the best part about all those kills is against the one with the girlfriend laughing at u. i can only imagine the shame that kid had to endure when his girlfriend was shut up by a lincoln. hell, they probably had no idea what it was that beat them.
