Hi guys, this is my 1st Mark VIII (97)
I've all ready been through more electrical problems on it than i've had on any other car.(pulling dash to fix the heater blend door, ele.door lock and mainly unlock, battery continusily going dead and tail light shorted out at the neon light ballist.
Now after no problems for over 9 months, I go to crank it and it will not turn over, just a click like the battery is dead, then no sounds.the lights work the locks works the windows work.I switch it on and the fuel gauge works. so I charged the battery anyway, samething. So I lock the car with the remote, and wait over a hour, unlock it with the remote but it still willnot spin over, just a light click (not the sound of a dead battery) over toward the fuse box.and the message center does't light up or say anything.
As I've said I had the dash and the message center out B4 and it would crank then so I don't think that is stopping it from cranking. But it was working B4 this problem started. I did find a blowen fuse(#4)radio and replaced it then it blew again which I replaced with a 15a intead of 10a mainley because I didn't have another 10. but it has not blown.
As I've said I'm new to these cars, and the only help I've gotten B4 has been from people on this forum and I thank them and anyone else who my be able to give any advice on My new problem.
