My 97 Evergreen base

These were all taken with my old camera. I haven't had the car clean enough to take any with my new Sony. I just finished a tranny cooler install (thanks Driller) and changed my blend door motor (thanks again Mark) Hopefully a grear swap and exhaust will come shortly. Before anyone says it, I know I need to lower it a little.

RE: My 97 Evergreen base

Wow, very sharp my man, very sharp. Those wheels really give it THEY "Luxury" look.

I'm guessing you painted the LINCOLN MARK VIII on the black plastic under the hood?

RE: My 97 Evergreen base

Funny thing is when I went to look at it I was hopeing it had chrome directionals. The wheels have really grown on me.
Yes, I painted it. I always thought it looked kind of dumb to have the raised letters Lincoln Mark VIII, but not have them a diffrent color. I figured since the InTech was in silver the Mark VIII letters would look good silver also. I used a product called UniPaint. It marks on any surface and isn't supossed to wash away. Here is a link http://store.artsuppliesdirect.com/unma.html

I think that I just found a product to use for painting my old license plates. I put the UniPaint site into my favorites and will give it a try soon, been wanting a product like it for a long time. Thanks.

RE: My 97 Evergreen base

I have been using these for at least the last 8 years. My previous job was in a machine shop running CNCs. We used them to mark cast iron parts with. Worked very well, and would not wash off from the oil and coolant.
