Last night as usual at Bellmore,
Got off work early and took the Chevelle out to strech her muscles.
Some rich punk tries to "drift" on Sunrise Hwy to "IMPRESS" the crowd
with OF ALL THINGS a 2 day old
RT-10 (Dodge truck with Viper motor).
This genius ends up losing control and T-bones the gaurd rail
at 40-50 mph LESS THEN 3 FT OF MY LS-6 !!
Thank God for the strong gardrail
(which I just happened to sitting on behind my car 2 minutes earlier)
and no damage to any cars in the lot.
Lucky for him his air bags didn't pop and somehow the truck was still drivable,
cause he took off when he saw us ready to pull him out of the truck,
At least 50 of us that is!
Parked next to me was a cop in that Pct,
with a awesome 63 409 dual quad Impala and my cousins 55 Nomad.
The cop said not to worry he would "take care of it".
Morale of the story :
Beware of 20 year old kids in 500 hp cars/trucks,
Be alert if you sit on the gardrail.
Save the drifting for open areas and,
PLEASE don't try things you see on TV until your a little "OLDER"
and know what the hell your doing.
