Navigation swap

Hello, I have looked every where to answer this so maybe someone here can help. Will a Navigation from a 2000 - 2005 Ford Expedition or maybe a exlpore fit in the dash of a 1998 Mark VIII? I know it would not plug in. But if the Navigation unite a 2x din raido? Or did they go and make a funk size for navigation? Would love to hear if anyone has done this or tryed.

I'm not sure on this but I think the 2nd gen radio is a 1 1/2 din size, not 2 din...

anyone else know?

the navigation for the navigator goes in the console, not in the dash, so no, it wouldn't fit.

The navigation from the Explorer should with some modification of course. Like this one for instance.
