Lurking....always Lurking
I have a broken brass fitting in the transmission body of my daughter's 2004 Dodge Neon SXT. I need some suggestions on how to remove the fitting without damaging the transmission housing.
These are the inlet and outlet that route transmission fluid to the cooler built in to the radiator.
The fitting broke off while I was removing the hose from the fitting. The break is pretty clean, and it is right against the transmission housing. There is nothing to grab with a pair of pliers to attempt to turn it manually.
Any ideas? I'm willing to rent/purchase the tools necessary to do the job, I just don't know where to start.
Thanks in advance!
Ron
