So who hear was shocked when they recently went to go buy their favorite coke product 2 litre bottle and only to find out they down sized the bottle by 25% and the (Sale) price didnt change.

It kinda caught my eye, and it "seemed" different. Truthfully, I didn't really pause and make a study of it, but I do recall thinking, that it just didn't look right, if you know that feeling. I proceeded to the R/C per usual, only to find out that they were sold out, so I bought 7-UP. This was this morning, actually !

didn't notice but that's just being f'n cheap. Put the price up like 5 cents and give me 2 damn litres

inflation on certain products is crazy. Plywood, 2x4's, Cement, Fuel, Milk. All have seen extreme price increases in the past year. Its getting crazy.

The thing that p's me off is potato chips. The bags are MUCH smaller than they used to be. I remember going to Subway and getting one of those "Big Grabs" or whatever they're called, and one bag was enough. Now, you get about ten chips, so you have to buy two bags.

If they need to increase profits, then just raise the damned price, and quit insulting my intelligence.

As for inflation, I wonder if this (getting less product for the same money) is accounted for in inflation figures. I get the feeling inflation is much higher than what we're led to believe.

Subway did rasie their price buy 50cents on everything. also they are going to start toasting the subs.

Gas prices have a lot to do with the increasing prices on almost every product also. Companies aren't going to start losing money due to increased shipping costs, so they just jack everything up a few cents. That's part of my theory at least.
