New toy, Ford truck

It's a 2000 Ford Ranger. I bought it for $300 in "unknown" running condition from a public auction and it turns out the 3.0 is seized. Anyone know anything about these trucks? I found a remanufactured '94 motor for $500 on Craigslist and wonder if it will interchange. It's a clean truck (after 2 hours of buffing it out) and it's a 5 speed. The caged back end will hold a ton of stuff. I'm just debating whether I should keep it or just sell it "as is". Here's a pic: BTW the gem next to it is a car I purchased a few months ago and sold to the neighbor in the warehouse next to me. It's a '99 Daewoo Leganza I bought for $300. Sold that car for $700 and got an extra $300 for the kicker subs and amp that were in the trunk.

you know what, if it actually had a regular ranger bed on it i'd buy it as is and take the time to throw a motor in it, i could so use a truck, but i wouldnt be caught dead with that bed on it lmao!!!

The bed is what actually made me buy it. Very well built and all steel. I do a lot of auction crap and this would keep me from using the big Dodge all the time, :big-grin:

I agree drop a 4.6 in it and put a regular bed on it and i bet it would be a fun little truck to drive, i miss driving my truck although it was a little bigger lol
