Bought an '05 Dodge RAM Daytona Edition truck the other day. 39k miles on the odo and aside from a small dent on the rear bumper its almost showroom condition. Jamie wanted to buy my old '97 Chevy S10 but instead his friend Matt bought it (thanks again Jamie for helping me sell it quickly). Once I sold it I had to find another truck quick so here's what I came home with a day after I sold the S10:

Door Panels (not pictured) all have the "Daytona" logo on stainless steel and of course the seats have them etched on there. 1 of 10000 made so it'll be somewhat collectible.

Motor is the Hemi and its got full length headers, aftermaket cats and exhaust plus CAI intake and a chip, its LOUD!

Fuel mileage is yet to be determined since I haven't driven it much yet. I actually like the wing but will have to remove it cause you just cant get anything big in the bed with the wing there!. They should have put a taller wing on it or just not put one on at all.
 
Good lookin truck. I want a 6speed SRT10 pickup with quad cab (never made the 6sp w\ quad cab).
 
lol look at nick, between the cobra and the truck with a dvd player and train horns i'd say those are your mid life crisis toys lmao! good looking truck dude, but like i told you at the shop, the wings dont do it for me, i love those daytona ram's and the srt-10's looks like you found a clean one.
 
Hey, I wasn't planning on buying one of these, I was looking for a normal full size truck but when I saw it on the lot it "spoke to me". I had to have it and after some negotiating I got it for $13k "out the door" including all taxes, registration and dealer fees. Not bad for modded '05 w/39k miles. This thing is MASSIVE. I didn't think I'd get it through the garage door opening but I tried today and it fit!. Look at how big it is next to the Cobra:

wow 13k isn't bad for that truck, the truck and SUV market has really tanked! Wasn't that a 40k truck when new?

Yeah, it was tad over $40k new. The truck/SUV market it aweful!. I would have needed more cash to buy an older Camry than I needed to buy this truck!. No thanks!. I'll deal with the gas. With a light foot it seems I average close to 15mpg. Not too bad but way off what I was getting with the S10.

That is a nice truck and you got a heck of a good deal on it, out here in the Fresno area you cant touch an 05 daytona for less then 19k

Thanks for the comments. So far I'm loving the truck. Has most of the comfort of a luxury car and most of the toys as well. I just need to get used to the sheer size of it. I have had big conversion vans in the past and its actually easier to drive than those so it wont take long. :D
 
Hornblasters kit. :D Had that on my Mark and plan on finding a spot for them on my S2, lol.
